This famous alpine road winds through the Carpathian Mountains with dramatic switchbacks, sweeping valleys and unforgettable high-altitude views. A true bucket-list ride.
Along the way, explore the medieval town of Sighișoara, birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, and visit Biertan, home to one of the region’s best-preserved fortified churches.
Your adventure finishes on the Transalpina, the highest road in Romania. Climb its spectacular mountain passes, enjoy wide-open panoramas, and celebrate completing one of the most scenic cycling routes in the country.
